Doris Power

Inspired by the beauty found in nature, Doris began painting a number of years ago. She is mostly self-taught but has taken some workshops; in particular, she was privileged to learn from Jack Reid. Her primary medium is Watercolour, however, she has recently taken a course in oil from the Kingston School of art.

Doris is a member of Bath Artisans; VAGA (Visual Artists of Gananoque and Area);
GNAAA (Greater Napanee Area Artists Association); and RLAA (Rideau Lakes
Artists' Association).

To date she has been in seven consecutive juried shows and her paintings are in
private collections in Canada, the UK, United States and Japan.
