Denise paints acrylic landscape paintings in an impressionistic style.

As an artist, I aim at catching a moment in time and a sense of place. Places that are
significant to me, that trigger emotion and that impart the viewer with a sense of the
familiar. Living in the small rural community of Harrowsmith brings me close to the
natural surroundings that continue to motivate me. Most mornings, I can be found
walking local trails and paths with camera or plein-air kit in hand.
