I worked in fashion design before I painted, but soon left the rag trade behind; I loved painting more. It's my passion. I've worked in various mediums, but these days oil painting is my main squeeze.
I painted while my children grew and while we moved around the world. It's a grounding thing for me. I love gardening and fiddle music.
I ran a small seasonal gallery from the porch of my old stone farmhouse from 2010-2015. Now my work is seen at local galleries(see my website) or by appointment in my home.
Inspiration from Canadian themes and designs dominate my contemporary semi-abstracted landscapes and florals. I work intuitively and spntaneously towards a goal of rhythymn and harmony to capture what I see and what I want to see. I'm an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists.
