After retiring from an enjoyable 30 year career teaching PHE and Science Jill found time for her passion in art. Jill’s ever evolving style has been influenced through experimentation, fellow artists and workshops with a variety of talented artists. She became a member of the Rideau Lakes Artists Association where she is an enthusiastic participant and Past President. Jill was recently juried into the artist's cooperative VAGA (Visual Artists of Gananoque and Area). Jill paints mostly with acrylics and likes to use texture in her work. While choice of subject is inspired by travel and nature, evident throughout Jill’s work is a happy soul and a love of colour.
